Challenge

  1. No eCommerce Team – We implemented systems to manage the eCommerce inventory internally and taught the employees the basics of Amazon platform management. We replaced all internal barcodes with UPCs for listing creation.

  2. Brand new to the market – We launched all new products in the building supplies category, which was already an established category with numerous competitors.

Strategy

  1. eCommerce Team - We established and taught a small group of employees how to prep and ship to Amazon FBA. We had our internal team trained on their products to answer any customer service questions. We hired photographers to take pictures of their products for infographics and A+ content creation etc.

  2. PPC – Since the store was newly created, we had to launch brand new PPC campaigns. We focused on creating sponsored product campaigns to capture market share, and specifically targeted our competitor’s products.

  3. Conversion rate – After the initial round of product listings, we’ve continuously A/B tested titles, images, A+ content, and bullet points to build the best product detail page for conversion rate.

Results:

Launched successful PPC campaigns with the ROAS of 5.93-6.64 that created a best seller in their category.

Consistent increase in average weekly sales by 22% month over month.
